James 1:2-7 tells us how we WILL receive what we ASK for…
If any of you lacks wisdom, all you need to do is ask this of God – and He will give to ALL WHO ASKS!!!!

You were created to WIN!

David writes in Psalm 139:13-16, as he speaks to his Creator:

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and WONDERFULLY MADE; you works are wonderful, I know that full well…”

Whatever you focus on will shape your life, and how you feel on a day to day basis.

Here’s the jist of what Paul shared in a letter as he encouraged a man named Philemon. I’ve put it into “today’s speak”:

Be anxious for nothing! Instead – prayer about your concerns and express your thankfulness for what is before you.

Allow your mind to focus on these things – and you’ll radically change your focus, your feelings, and your financial future:

Focus on things that are:
true,
honorable,
right,
pure,
lovely,
and are of good report!
~ Phil 4:6-8

(In other words – throw that darn newspaper away – and certainly don’t start your day filling your mind with “bad news” or ending your day with the tragedies on the 6 o’clock news.)
