I learned this quote from Zig Ziglar 15 years ago. But only in the past 5 years do I understand its significance.

As a lifestyle coach, showing people how to live better, more successfully so that they have the health, energy and fitness they need for sustainable success; I’ve noticed that almost every lifestyle strategy that works, in the modern day, is one where you make small incremental improvements.

Heroic efforts of dieting and exercise do not work, and these acts are not sustainable. But getting the health, energy and fitness outcomes you want, as a consequence of how you live is attainable and sustainable.

Shorter, more intense bouts of improvement are a lot more effective, and more fun, for business owners especially.

It’s how you live day by day that matters.

     ~ John Allen Mollenhauer
