Tom Landry’s discovery on Winning and that it’s more of a mindset than anything.

He contradicts the popular Super Bowl coaches who say, “Winning isn’t everything; it’s the only thing.”

Instead, Tom Landry, NFL Defensive Back and Coach believes that, “A winner never stops trying.”

He shares his discovery on “winning” in “The Edge” where he quotes the apostle Paul, who explains it best in I Corinthians 9:24-27:

“In a race, everyone runs, but only one person gets first prize.

So run YOUR race to win. To win the contest, you must deny yourselves many things that would keep you from doing your best.

An athlete goes to all this trouble just to win a ribbon or a silver cup, but we do it for a heavenly reward that never disappears.
